The Yellow Wallpaper

The Yellow Wallpaper by Charlotte Perkins Gilman is about the woman's mental situation getting worse by the rest cure that prescribed by the doctor, her husband. I thought this story is boring and by the lunatic narrative style, I was like to lose my mind as the woman in this story. 

The mood of the story is very gloomy and dark. It's kind of seem like a horror story. Because in the end, the woman totally lost her mind and she crawls over her husband.

This story seems like having the meaning of resisting patriarchal society and limited women's right. It has some similarities with "Caring for Plants" by Pyun Hye Young that both used the theme of masculinity and revenge.

However, I thought storyline is quite boring and it qua a cliche story.
