The Semplica-Girl Diaries

 In semolina-girl diaries, there is a nameless narrator who records his feeling in diaries. His family is not rich, (actually poor) and his daughter Lilly want to have Semplica Girl for her birthday present. Semplica Girl is kind of sculpture used for home deco which is kind of luxury for rich people. 

SGs(Semplica Girls) are both status symbol and capitalism's charitable to prostitution and human trafficking.   I think this story looks fictional and there's fictional factors in story, but the setting and theme is quite realistic. Because this story included human's enviness and jealousness very well. The main character seems to have a inferiority complex for his life and the degree of wealth. When I read the main character's diary, I fell like I'm looking at modern people who criticize the rich, but eventually want to be rich.

This story has hero's journey progress, but I think the main character would not change. Even Eva frees the SGs out of sympathy to their pain, the narrator don't even judge or punish Eva's decision. So I think the narrator would be same as before the SGs got free.
