Puppy by George Saunders

 There are two different family in puppy. One is Marie's family whose is rich, nothing is leg behind, but their kid has some intellectual disability but not severe. And another is Callie's family. They are poor and kind of social underprivileged people. Their child Bo has serious intellectual disability like ADHD. Marie is like a soccer mom who cares her child a lot and want to seem she is a good mother. However, Callie can't offer sufficient amount of things that her kid need because of the lack of money. But she does everything that she can do for her child. I thought Marie is better mom than Callie because I think Callie treating her kid harshly for example tied her kid on the tree. However, if their social and economic background is same, I would prefer mom like Callie than Marie. Callie has huge maternal love to her child and takes hard effort on her kid, but Marie just pretend like a good mom in superficially.
