Araby by James Joyce

 Araby is a common story that a young boy crush on a girl and do a favor for the girl. For example, it's very similar with '봄봄' by 김유정 in Korea. However, the interesting difference in Araby is reality.

Even a young boy goes to the bazaar called Araby because the Mangan's sister asked him to go together, she didn't go to Araby and only a young boy went Araby for buy something for Mangan's sister. However, because of his uncle came late and drunken, the time he arrived Araby was too late and he was not with enough money, he finally cries and frustrated. This is very impressive because otherwise with the usual story about young's love, almost every story ends with an happy ending. However, to remain the young boy the real, and truth of his love, this story is differentiated with others.

The only thing I want to change in this story, is giving more information to the audience. Because this is short story and giving not enough information, it's hard to understand the correlation between the story and also with the characters.
